Fort Rodd Hill is a coast artillery fortbuilt in the late 1890s to defend Victoria and Esquimalt
Naval Base. There were 3 gun batteries, underground magazine, command posts, guard houses, barracks. Each batteries were built to be defended from land assault. The guns were built raise up and fire.

Fisgard Lighthouse

This lighthouse is at the entrance to Esquimalt Harbour

National Historical Site of Canada
This lighthouse was the first one on Canada's west coast.. It was built by the British when Vancouver Island was still a Crown Colony in 1860. It is still being used as an active lighthouse today.
